The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure sassa status check at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The provider issue created for intervention experiences a higher influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all shoppers and raise use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
